Lady Neptune

Lady Neptune Salon

Branding

2024

Lady Neptune was built for the people who never felt cool enough, edgy enough, or whatever enough to walk into a hair salon alone, and the brand had to mean that from the inside out. The work focused on translating that into a visual world loud enough to mean it, drawing from the color and motion of the 1970s filtered through something more current and more inclusive, with melting bubble letterforms, layered swirling marks, and a palette that swings from deep disco purple to hot tangerine without losing coherence. Every detail was treated as part of the same story, from wavy murals wrapping entire walls to a mirror-tiled bathroom glowing violet to a turntable sitting next to the shampoo bowls. The process stayed rooted in strategy first, making sure the visual exuberance had a real point of view behind it rather than just a vibe, and that foundation is what allowed the brand to grow with force. Lady Neptune was named the best hair salon in Seattle by the Seattle Times in both 2024 and 2025, and has since opened a second location.
